HISTORY OF THE HARRISON FAMILY

 The name Harrison in Ireland is either derived from settlers who arrived from England and Scotland in the seventeenth century or from a number of native Gaelic Septs. The Sept O'hEarchaidh which was more usually anglicized as Harrihy and the O'hEarchadha Sept, more usually anglicized to Horohoe, both used Harrison as their Anglo equivalent.

One of the primary resource materials used for this family is a book given to me by a family member, which I will be adding to my sources when I work this line again.  You will note that this line crosses over into the Cravens Line and the Hiatt Line and through them, into the Evans family.  As I start filling in my source information, this section will show better documentation.

I am not going to update the decendency line yet as this was one of the lines that was dropped when my computer crashed a few months back.
